Abstract: The GEODA-GRUA is one conformal adaptive antenna array designed for satellite communications. Operating at GHz with circular polarization, it is possible to track and communicate with several satellites at once being able to receive signals in full azimuth and within the range of 5° to broadside elevation thanks to its adaptive beam.

Adaptive antennas and phased arrays, with rapidly scanned beams or multiple beams, are commonly suggested for radar and communications systems in ground-based, airborne, and spaceborne applications that must function in the presence of jamming and other sources of interference.
